**DISCLAIMER FOR REFILLING MEDICATIONS**

For medication refill requests, please keep in mind that Dr. Litton provides his patients with a necessary amount of refills between appointment times. If you need to change your appointment due to an unexpected change in your personal plans, we are happy to provide you with enough medication to last until you can be evaluated at your next appointment. It is the policy of our office not to continuously refill medications for patients who do not keep their regular follow up appointments. Failure to follow up for regularly scheduled appointments constitutes a breach in the Doctor-Patient relationship and is grounds for dismissal from our practice. This policy is in place not only for the safety and well being of our patients, but it also complies with the regulations set forth by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
